Benefit Carwash First Baptist Church of Los Fresnos, and the youth group along with the Church of Christ youth group, had a benefit carwash for Madison. It was held Saturday, May 20 from 9 am to 1 pm at the new Pronto Insurance in Los Fresnos, on Hwy. 100. Kim Lunsford
Princess Madison 'Fun'd Run The Rio Grande Valley Wings (Goldwing Motorcycle Club) had a "Princess Madison 'Fun'd Run" on Saturday, May 6, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The run started and ended at Wesley United Methodist Church in Harlingen. This run was a Scavenger Hunt and all the generous proceeds went to the Randolph family. They made $985.00 on Saturday, and with the $250.00 donated by The Goldwing group, the total is $1235.00. There are many people Sara would like to thank and the event was sponsored by the Rio Grande Chapter V of the Goldwing Road Riders Association. She was assisted by Pat and Terry Knouse, and Don and Ginny Pair. LFD and Wal-Mart in Brownsville donated hot dogs, buns and cokes, and Ed Hayward organized the food preparation. Thank you!

March for Madison

The "March for Madison" was a three mile benefit walk to assist the Randolph family and their 3 year old little girl Madison.This three mile walk started at Central Christian Church parking lot in Brownsville, TX. The proposed path allowed walkers to remain on city sidewalks for the entire duration of the walk. This community effort, coordinated by Erika Barrientes, hope to raise a large amount of donations to help with the financial burdens of Madisons’ care. Over 100 walkers raised over $4000! T-Shirts are still available if you would like to wear your support of Madison.

School Supports Madison On Thursday, March 30th Los Cuates Middle School collected donations for Madison. The LCMS administration held a dollar jean day in which everyone is allowed to wear jeans to school in exchange for a donation of $1.00. The students & faculty love dollar jean day because they don’t have to wear their school uniform! The students, faculty and staff donated $314 dollars to Madison’s fund and on Friday, March 31st. The administration is hosting a “cap day” soon to help raise more funds for Madison. Everyone at Los Cuates was glad to help out! Criselda Marroquin
